I finally used the sample of ChocoLime that I received a while back from Tatskool. It was 5 yards so I didn't want a large project but I've been WANTING to play with the thread :) So I decided that this whole needle tatting thing was perfect!!! So I did 2 of TotusMel's flower pendant. It was kinda more practice and kinda I think I want to do the flower pendants for the Halloween costume. I think I can get LOTS of them done in various thread, both HDT and Lizbeth, and scatter them and attach as I like....good plan right??? Anyway I got the two flowers above done and have that LITTLE bit of Chocolime left and now I need to get more!!!! Off to play w/ the Chocoraspberry and the Raspberry Ripple!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO
Oh yeah...I can tell I tat tighter than TotusMel...my pendant leaves overlap, now I like this effect but this is also why I have to block everything!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the choco-lime. The bronzy inbetween in a beautiful color, too.

That is really pretty thread! I think I would like choco-anything. I love brown! Your motifs are PRETTY - looks like you have gotten the hang of needle tatting!

ReplyDeleteHi Viv, so glad you liked the ChocoLime sample. It looks beautiful as earrings. the bronzy in between became a separate colourway as Antique Gold. ChocoLime's Cousin is coming out today.

GO right ahead!!!! I'm excited to get to order the new colors :) Mom loves the brozy color inbetween the choco and the lime so I think she's gonna have to get some Antique bronze
